This was a crazy brief with an even crazier turn around - from our friends in the Mexico office.

In Mexico, plastic pollution is having a devastating effect on its beaches. Corona wanted to educate Mexicans about how much their beaches have changed. So to do it, we changed their branding for the first time in 100 years. We worked with scientists and marine biologists to determine the level of pollution found in 10 popular beaches. Then, we visualised the data on Corona’s iconic cans. The more plastic we found, the less blue we showed. Cans were distributed around the country and all delivered our message: ‘The more plastic we use, the more ocean we lose’.
